Aqua and I both love Madoka Magica a lot, and it was actually what brought us to start cosplaying together (and to take cosplay photos more seriously in general). Our very first set was a maid version of Madoka and Homura that we kind of improvised!
This set was pretty improvised too—we wanted to spend a nice day at Riminicomix (a con held by the seaside) and maybe get some pretty summer photos. The outfits were loosely inspired by this figure.
We ended up getting inspired by the location and coming up with the concept of a beach date (I’m a MadoHomu shipper, sorry not sorry). Also, big thanks to snekkii.ph, who managed to make the beach look so calm and empty, even though it was full of cosplayers, lol.
